Precision ECU calibration and performance hardware for diesel
bakkies, 4x4s and performance cars. Every figure on this site came off a dyno — not
a brochure.
Four services, one standard. Nothing leaves here on a generic file.
Stage 1 calibration
A custom ECU calibration on completely standard hardware. Fuelling, boost, ignition and throttle mapping rewritten around your engine, your fuel and how you actually drive.
No hardware required
Improved throttle response
Stronger mid-range torque
Often improves economy
Reversible to stock
Stage 2 & Stage 2+
Software and hardware mapped as one system. Downpipes, turbo-back exhausts and intake work calibrated together — which is the only way either of them actually pays off.
Full hardware integration
Downpipes & turbo-back systems
Significant power and torque gains
Datalogged and validated
Built around your goals
Performance hardware
Supply and fitment of hardware we've actually tested — including DeGraaf stainless turbo-back exhaust systems, downpipes and supporting components.
DeGraaf performance exhausts
76mm stainless turbo-back systems
Downpipes and decats
Intake and intercooler upgrades
Fitted and calibrated in-house
Diagnostics & file services
ECU reading and writing over OBD or bench, fault-driven diagnostics, and file work for workshops that need a calibration they can trust.
There is a difference between buying a
generic map off a server and having someone build a calibration around your engine,
your hardware and your fuel. One is a download. The other is a job.
Custom calibration written for your car, not your model range
Factory protection strategies left intact — always
Datalog-driven refinement, then road and dyno validation
Hardware we've tested ourselves, mapped as a system
Not when it's done properly. We calibrate inside the mechanical and thermal limits of your specific engine and leave every factory protection strategy intact. The figures we chase are the ones the hardware can live with long term — which is why our cars are still on the road years later. A tune that ignores those limits isn't a tune, it's a bet.
Does tuning affect my warranty?
A modified calibration can affect a manufacturer warranty claim, and any tuner who tells you otherwise is not being straight with you. We'll talk through your situation honestly before you commit, and we can return the ECU to its original file whenever you need.
How long does it take?
A Stage 1 calibration is usually a same-day job. Stage 2 builds involving hardware fitment and dyno validation typically need the car for longer — we'll tell you exactly what to expect when we quote, not after we've got your keys.
Are the numbers on this site real?
Yes. Every figure published here came from a car we tuned and measured. Where a gain is quoted at the wheels, we say so. Where it's a peak output, we say that too. Your car's result will depend on its condition, fuel quality and hardware — which is exactly why we measure rather than promise.
What fuel should I run afterwards?
For petrol builds we calibrate around the fuel you'll realistically use and tell you the minimum octane to stick to. Diesel calibrations are less fuel-sensitive, but consistent quality diesel and a healthy filter make a measurable difference.
Do you tune vehicles from outside Durban?
Regularly. Plenty of customers travel in for a build, and we also provide a file service for workshops elsewhere in the country. Message us and we'll work out the practical option.
